Next week we would like to chat about Provocations. Our moderator for the week will be @33megan33 It will be her first time to moderate a #PYPweek chat and she has thought of the following questions to start us off: Q1: What makes a provocation successful? Q2: Have you ever had students create provocations for the following year? How did it go? Q3: What are your best resources for provocations? Q4: How frequently do you use provocations in class? Q5: Please share your most powerful provocation. Please share your provocation questions in the comments below. We are also looking for new moderators. Please get in touch with [email protected] if you want to volunteer. |

We are also still interested in finding more people to moderate a chat, hearing suggestions on how to improve our chat-format and if there is someone out there who would like to design us a funky logo/banner.
We are always on the lookout for volunteers to help out with moderating chats. Please get in contact if you would like to give this a try or have other ideas about how to make this community of learners even better.
Please help us decide what kind of questions and topics you would like to see discussed in the upcoming #PYPweek chats on Twitter. We really want to hear what YOU wonder about, struggle with, like to celebrate or learn about.
If you feel shy about sharing them in the open, think you can help us out in any way, have suggestions on how we can improve the #PYPweek format, you can also send us an email: [email protected] This Sunday (August 2) we will commence a new #PYPweek slow-chat on Twitter. This week we would like to explore the theme of "The role of parents in the PYP". What questions do you have about this topic that you would like to see explored during the chat? 1. How to educate parents about the program. 2. How to involve parents in the classroom. 3. How to report to parents. 4. How parents support their children's learning at home. Add other questions or topics below in the comments. See you on Twitter! The #PYPweek slow chat is taking a short break. Time to spread the word, round up some new volunteers (please holler if you want to help us) and think of new ideas for chat topics. Share your ideas for topics and burning questions in the comments.
WE WILL SEE YOU BACK IN AUGUST!
